Why did the City of Casey create Casey Connect?
Casey Connect was created by the City of Casey as an online community for groups and individuals who live, work or meet in the municipality.
The name of the project was derived from the idea of ‘connecting’ people in Casey: strengthening communication, enabling partnerships and creating a better sense of community.
Casey Connect lets community groups create a free website so that they can keep in touch with their members about upcoming events. It also encourages everyone from our community to find out about local groups and get involved with people that share their interests and desires.

Offering information on:
- Groups and organisations servicing the City of Casey that provide advice and support on issues that concern you
- Groups and organisations that offer you the opportunity to get involved
- Events and activities taking place in your area
Giving you the opportunity to:
- Get involved in improving your neighbourhood
- Participate in local groups and activities
- Be more aware of the groups and organisations within your community
Supporting local groups by:
- Providing networking opportunities on a local and regional level
- Providing a means for groups to promote their own organisation and its activities
- Distributing relevant information on issues such as funding and best practice
- Encouraging the recruitment of new members and volunteers
- Providing information on resources and facilities available within the City of Casey

And this is completely free to groups in the City of Casey! Publishing is very easy - even if you are a beginner. You can even get training to get you up and running in no time.
