About us

 

St John's Anglican Church serves Cranbourne and surrounding districts. We believe we have an important part to play in commending Christ and his way within our community.  Most of us live in Cranbourne and we range from very young to the very old.  In various ways we all know that life is a struggle, but that God is strong and good.  Our aim is to grow in our appreciation of God, to point others to God's love, and to use our various abilities to honour God and build God's Kingdom. Our slogan is 'Growing People, Building Community'.

 

As Anglicans we aim in our worship services to engage heart, mind and will in response to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.  We believe that what we do the rest of the week matters as much as what we do in our services.  We believe that God's work in the world is much larger than what we are doing in Cranbourne, and are keen to support that work beyond our church.

 

We have a particular link with Anglicare Victoria, and Anglicare

Cranbourne operates from offices on the St John's site.
