St John's Buildings

St John's has an historic but well-maintained church building, dating from 1866.  It is one of Cranbourne's historic treasures and will be preserved into the future.  The hall, used by various community groups, is in need of replacement. Currently the children's ministry is housed in transportable buildings.

Plans are being developed to build a new, considerably larger, worship centre, office and ministry facilities between the existing church building and the stand of trees on the corner Childers and Russell streets.   A building fund has been established, and any in the wider community wanting to contribute to this fund   should send their gift to 'St John's Cranbourne' at the address on the Contact Us page.  Such donations cannot be used for any other purpose.  It is hoped that construction will commence in 2011. Plans will be finalised this year.
