What is U3A?

"The Third Age" is the age of active retirement, and U3A caters to those who have increased leisure and would like to learn new skills, and meet and work with stimulating and interesting people.

Seniors!

Are you bored, lonely, new to the area,   wanting to learn about new things or just wanting to keep your mind active?

Our U3A runs classes especially for you!

·   Learning for enjoyment alone, in a non-threatening, happy environment.

·   No tests or assessment.

·   A small subscription enables membership of all classes .

Who are we?

We are a community organisation.

We started in July 2005.

We are part of the international U3A movement, and are affiliated with the Victorian U3A Network.

We are a non-profit organisation.

Our classes are taught and all of our administration is carried out by volunteers.

What do we do?

We run a wide variety of classes especially for Seniors. Our talented and enthusiastic tutors work tirelessly to present classes that are interesting and especially geared to the level of their participants.

We provide an environment where there is a lot of fun and laughter, and where many friendships are made.
