Casey-South Melbourne Cricket Club incorporating South Melbourne Cricket Club relocated from Albert Park to the City of Casey for the start of the 2006/2007 Premier Cricket Season. A proud club that has a history of 145 years has appreciated the tremendous support from the Ceo, Councillors and staff of the City of Casey with the smooth transition/relocation to Casey Fields, ovals 4&5 with excellent facilities, ovals and turf wickets.
The club fields 4 teams and also promotes cricket through the City of Casey and Gippsland via Cricket Victoria. The Club has already established for season 2008/2009 a Cricket Academy for promising Juniors 15-17 years of age. Numbers this year have been limited to 14 and have been sourced through local competitions.
