Junior and Senior Waverley Tennis Teams
Four junior and one senior team represent Doveton on Saturdays. Doveton will be the Grand Final venue for the three highest grades in the Association to be played on 29th March 2009.
Night Tennis
A night tennis competition on Monday nights features players of Tennis Victoria Grade 1 to 3 in a best of 5 sets singles competition. The standard is excellent.
The Grand Final is scheduled for 24th November.
VicJunior Pennant
Doveton is the home court for four Waverley Tennis junior teams in Tennis Victoria's junior competition. The home and away matches are held Sunday mornings and finish on 30th November.
TOURNAMENTS
Waverley Tennis Melbourne Cup Tournament
Doveton is the main venue Cup Weekend for this annual junior tournament. Finals of all the age sections will be held on Tuesday 4th November. Competition is sure to be strong among the 260 entrants.
