FREE SUSTAINABLE GARDENING EVENTS

Come and find out all about growing your own fruit and vegetables at home, whether you have a residential block, acreage or even if you're renting.

Free workshops on:

  • No dig gardens
  • Composting
  • Native Plants
  • Growing your own food

There will also be:

  • Talks and displays by local home food growers
  • Seeds for sale
  • Herbs and other garden items for sale

There are seven events across Casey, so come to the one that suits you! All events will run from 10am-4pm (except Pearcedale - see below)

  • Saturday 11 July 2009 - Doveton Neighbourhood Learning Centre Inc
  • Saturday 18 July 2009 - Pearcedale Farmers Market (9am-1pm)
  • Saturday 25 July 2009 - Oakgrove Community Centre
