Volunteering Opportunities

The backbone of the vibrant Casey Community is reinforced by a lively culture of volunteering.

It is volunteers who give their time, skills and enthusiasm freely, who are an essential resource to an active and healthy Casey community.

Volunteers come from all walks of life, live in all suburbs of Casey and take part in many different volunteering opportunities.

From delivering Meals on Wheels, providing recreation opportunities for people with disabilities, using creative talents in the arts or being involved in local sporting clubs there is a volunteer opportunity to suit every resident of every age.

Volunteers experience benefits that often far outweigh the time, energy and experience they give.   Benefits can include gaining confidence, improving health, meeting likeminded people, boosting career options- not to mention the fun and rewards connected with getting out and getting involved in the community.

The City of Casey is committed to the support, promotion and recognition of volunteers and the strengthening of a safer, healthier more connected community.

Volunteering in a food garden can be a very rewarding experience. It gives you the opportunity to pass on your skills, help other people to grow their own food successfully, contribute to the health and wellbeing of others and have lots of fun!
