Each Heart Foundation Walking group is led by a local volunteer called a Walk Organiser.

 

Walk Organisers are the glue that holds walking groups together - they decide the route, times and days for the walks, acta as the main point of contact for group members, and help us stay in touch with all our walkers.

 

Area Coordinators provide training and support for local Walk Organisers, help recruit new walkers and groups, and act as the local contact point for Heart Foundation Walking.

 

The Heart Foundation manages and promotes the network of Heart Foundation Walking groups and provides support and resources for Area Coordinators, Walk Organisers and walkers.
