The series will run from Sunday 11th July to Sunday 5th of September.   \n \n\nPastor Larry Sebastian of Casey City Church shared on Sunday an introduction to this 2 month series that addresses our often suppressed emotional state. Larry shared, "Often we say to ourselves "By faith we will do this, by faith we will do that. We will climb and scale every mountain. We will attempt everything that is ahead of us." And what we do, is we sweep a lot of the emotional things that we go through under the carpet. And we say "No, those are my feelings, I shouldn't give attention to my feelings." We become this iceberg where only 10% is seen by everyone and the 90% is deep within." \n\nEmotionally Healthy Spirituality will start you on a journey that will build both your emotional and spiritual maturity, addressing topics such as: \n\nThe problem of emotionally unhealthy spirituality. \nKnow yourself that you may know God \nGoing back in order to go forward \nJourney through the wall \nEnlarge your soul through grief and loss \n \nSessions are free to attend and form part of the Sunday Church Service. Extra workshops are encouraged to delve deeper into the material covered through various home groups meeting  \n\nduring the week and also a class offered by Pastor Larry following the Sunday Services for those that can't attend a mid week meeting.  \n \nWorkbooks and devotionals are available that will help you go deeper in this journey towards full emotional and spiritual health.    \n \nThis series is based on the material and book "Emotionally Healthy Spirituality" by Peter Scazzero  \n \nCasey City Church meet on Sundays at Hillcrest Christian College, 500 Soldiers Road, Clyde North, in the MPC building (Gate 3).
