Riding Developes Abilities (formally Riding for the Disabled) operates at our undercover pavilion at Myuna Farm in Kidds Road, Doveton.
We provide the opportunity for people of all ages with disablities which prevent them from learning to ride without support and who want the fun of riding a horse in a safe and controlled environment. Each rider is accompanied by a trained coach and sufficient helpers to ensure their safety. The riding is are classed as recreational rather than competitive although the opportunity to compete at other events does exist
Horse riding has been shown to give a fresh level of excercise and flexibility to people who spend much of their life in a wheelchair and will improve self confidence and enjoyment whatever the disability.
We are always looking for more helpers as this enables us to help more riders so if you like horses and being around them please give us a call
New riders are assessed by coaches specially qualified to do this and, if accepted, are booked in for a term of riding. The cost is $80 Registration Fee per annum and $80 per term riding fees.

If you think that this is for you or your family either as a rider or a volunteer please call Rick on 0425777449.
