Welcome to Rossmoyne Playgroup! 

Playgroup is open to all families, with children aged 0-5. We run a flexible program where the parents within each group plan and run their own session.  This allows each session to be specific to the groups needs and ages.  Rossmoyne Playgroup is managed by a commitee of volunteer parents, who have children attending playgroup sessions.

At the Rossmoyne centre, playgroups are able to take advantage of both indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor area was redeveloped in 2009 and boasts a large outdoor area including a herb garden, covered sandpit, climbing equipment, cubby house and play area.  There are many outdoor toys stored in a shed, that are available for use during playgroup.  The indoor space provides room for play with toys and puzzles, with cupboards providing storage for craft needs and extra toys.  With each group planning their own session, groups are able to utilise the equipment best suited to their group.

Playgroup aims to provide a safe environment for children to interact and learn, however it also provides the opportunity for parents to connect.  Parents are able to use the kitchen facilities to enjoy tea, coffee & milo. A microwave, cutlery and crockery are also available for use if groups wish to organise morning tea for their session.

Playgroup sessions are available on every day of the week, please check the session availability for details.  Some sessions have spaces available or new groups can be formed from exisiting friendships or mothers groups to fill a session, or individuals can go on the waiting list.
