Casey residents submitted photos taken in Casey to showcase Casey's culture and diversity:
- The cultural diversity of residents
- The celebration of family, cultural, community and multicultural events
- The way of life, traditions and customs
- The urban and natural landscape
Entries were accepted in the following categories:
- Child (Up to 12 years of age)
- Youth (13-20 years of age)
- Adult (21 years, plus)
Residents in Casey's sister city of Springfield, Ohio, USA also submitted photos which caputured "The Culture of Springfield".
Sister City Photographic exchange
The Casey photos will be shared with Springfield to provide them with an insight into the Australian culture and way of life in Casey.
Casey photos will also be exhibited in Springfield during their community arts and culture festival - "CultureFest" - in September 2010.
An exhibition of Casey and Springfield photos took place in July 2010 at the Balla Balla Community Centre in Cranbourne East.
